To view and manage your on-chain assets easily on the SafePal S1 hardware wallet, it's necessary to pair it with the SafePal App. If you've created a new wallet on the S1 device and paired it with the app, you might want to manually add some coins to your hardware wallet. This article will guide you through the process of adding and sending Telos chain mainnet coin $TLOS to your SafePal S1 hardware wallet.
Step1 Make sure to create a new wallet on the S1 device and pair it with the SafePal App. If you're not sure how to do this, refer to the detailed guideline in this link.
Step2 Open the SafePal App and navigate to the Coin Management page by clicking on the 'three-dot' icon on the homepage. This should be the wallet that you paired with your S1 hardware wallet.
Step3 Search the coin name that you want to add, in the case here we will search 'TLOS' coin, and click '+' on the right side of it.
Note: The $BTC,$Ethereum,$BNB(BEP20) and $BNB(BEP2) are the four coins added to the S1 by default, you don’t need to add these coins to your S1 hardware wallet again.
Step4 Scan back and forth between the App and the S1 hardware wallet, so that the data can be correctly synchronized between the SafePal App and the S1 wallet.
Step5 Then the coins are successfully added and you can view them in the 'Asset Management' tab on the S1 device.
Step6 Open your S1 and navigate to Asset Management, select a coin that you would like to receive from others.
Step7 Select ‘Receive’
Step8 Enter your PIN code of the S1.
Step9 Then you can see the QR code of your coin address, and show it to others so that they can scan and send the coin to you.
If you'd like to send a coin from your S1 hardware wallet to another address, you can refer to the detailed tutorial in this link.
Note: The S1 hardware wallet is an offline device to keep your private key and mnemonic phrase protected, it can’t detect and update the balances automatically. To check the balance of the hardware wallet account, please pair the SafePal App with the S1 device, the SafePal App can display all of the asset details of your wallet.
