Step 1 Get Prepared on X1 device
Turn on your X1 hardware wallet device by long pressing the power button.
After startup, select a language for your X1 device and click ‘OK’.
Step 2 Create a New Wallet
Click ‘Create New Wallet’.
Click 'Create Now'. If you would like to learn more about the Mnemonic phrase, you can click 'What's Mnemonic'.
Choose the length of the mnemonic phrase, and click 'OK'.
Write down your mnemonic phrase in order.
Step 3 Verify the backup of your mnemonic phrase
This step is very significant and it is to ensure that your mnemonic phrase is correctly backed up. Read the instruction message, and click 'OK'.
Tick the mnemonic phrase one by one in the correct order.
Set a PIN code for your X1 device and tightly remember it.
SafePal PIN code is the password on the hardware device used to approve transactions and authorize DApp logins. It is very important for transaction verification. Please do not leak your device PIN code anyhow.
Step 4 Complete
Input a wallet name to Name your wallet.
Confirm the name of your wallet and click 'OK'.
