In this tutorial, we’ll guide you through the steps for pairing your existing Fiat24 account with the SafePal App: You can either import your Fiat24 account using the mnemonic phrase. Following the correct sequence for transferring assets is important to avoid any issues.
Importing Your Fiat24 Account Using the Mnemonic Phrase
If you’ve previously set up a Fiat24 account and have the backup of its mnemonic phrase, you can easily import your account into the SafePal App. Here's how:
Step 1: Open the SafePal App
If you haven't installed the SafePal App yet, download it from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) and set it up, and you can refer to the detailed guidelines in the link here. Open the SafePal App, click the tab after your wallet name (if you have already installed the SafePal App and there is a wallet account in your SafePal App).
Step 2: Select "Add Wallet"
Tap on the "Add Wallet" button (if this is the first time you use SafePal, click Add Wallet directly after you install the SafePal App).
Tap on Add Existing Wallet.
Step 3: Enter the Mnemonic Phrase
You will be prompted to enter the 12 or 24-word mnemonic phrase (also know as recovery seeds) associated with your Fiat24 account. Make sure to input the words in the exact order they were given to you during the Fiat24 account setup.
Double-check each word to ensure accuracy, as even one wrong word can prevent successful recovery. After entering the mnemonic phrase, tap on Next.
Step 4: Complete the Wallet Import
Once the process is complete, your Fiat24 account should be successfully imported into SafePal, and you’ll be able to access and manage your Fiat24 assets within the SafePal App.
Tips for Successful Pairing:
- Double-check Addresses: Always verify that you are entering the correct wallet address during both Fiat24 token and NFT transfers. A wrong address can lead to lost funds.
- Follow the Correct Transfer Sequence: Remember, always transfer Fiat24 tokens before the associated account NFT. If you reverse the order, the transfer may fail.
- Backup Your Wallet: Always back up your mnemonic phrase, losing it means losing access to your assets.
