This article provides a step-by-step tutorial on how to add, receive or send $CHR(Chromia) coins using the SafePal software wallet. Before you can make transfers on Chromia mainnet, you must register your account on the Economy Chain. You can check your registration status by viewing the bottom right corner of the Economy Chain DApp page. Chromia requires users to meet certain conditions before registering their account on Economy Chain. These requirements are in place to prevent chain ‘bloat’ created by users registering an unlimited number of accounts.
You can register your Chromia account in one of the following ways:
1. Stake and delegate 10 or more CHR on any chain through the Chromia Official Staking Page.
2. Bridge at least 10 or more CHR from Ethereum or Binance Chain to Chromia Economy Chain using the Chromia Vault transfer page.
3. Withdraw at least 10 Native CHR from a participating exchange to their Economy Chain address, and then spend 10 CHR to register their account.
4. Receive at least 10 Native CHR from another registered account, and then spend 10 CHR to register their account.

Step1 Download and setup the SafePal App
The first step is to download the SafePal App from here, set up the SafePal App on your phone first, and create or import a wallet into your SafePal App.
The following are some useful tutorials you may need:
Step2 Add the $CHR(Chromia)coin
Launch your SafePal App, click the icon with the three dots, then click ‘Manage Coins’ on the App homepage.
Click the ‘Query’ icon or the blank field after the button, then enter the coin or token name that you would like to add. And in the case here it is ‘CHR(Chromia)’, and click the ‘+’ button.
A notification ‘Added’ will pop up for a short while to indicate the token is successfully added. You can then check and find the $CHR(Chromia) coin in the Asset list.
Step3 Receive the $CHR(Chromia) coin
Gently click on the $CHR(Chromia) coin that you want to receive, and click the ‘Receive’ tab.
Copy or share the wallet address with your friends, and start receiving the $CHR(Chromia) coins using the address!
Note: Please do check and ensure that all the addresses/Memos (if needed)/networks are correct when you transfer or receive a cryptocurrency. It is recommended to send a small amount first as a test before transferring the remaining amount, thus preventing huge losses due to human errors.
Step4 Send out the $CHR(Chromia) coin
Gently click on the $CHR(Chromia) coins that you want to send out, and click ‘Send’.
Enter the amount and receipt address of the transaction, and click 'Next'.
After you confirm the transaction, tap Send.
Since blockchain transfers are irreversible, double-check all the transfer details to avoid mistakes. Once you confirm the details, enter the Security Password to sign the transaction.
For convenience, you can also enable fingerprint to sign the transfer. Once the transfer is signed, it will be broadcast to the blockchain. Don't forget to check the status of the transfer and make sure it goes through successfully.
Caution: Once a transfer is confirmed on the blockchain, no one, including SafePal, can revert the transfer, even if the transfer is sent mistakenly. So do pay attention to the transfer details and avoid making wrong transactions.
