When using the SafePal X1 hardware wallet, you will need to connect it to the SafePal App via Bluetooth to update all details of your on-chain assets to view and manage your funds easily.
If you have created a new wallet on the X1 device and paired it with the SafePal App via Bluetooth, then you might want to add some coins to your X1 hardware wallet and transfer them with the device.
This article provides a tutorial on how to add, receive, and send out $USDC(Polygon) with a SafePal X1 hardware wallet.
This article contains the following four steps:
Step1 Prepare the X1 Device
Create/import a wallet on the X1 hardware and pair it with the SafePal App via Bluetooth. Refer to the following guidelines for how to do so.

Step2 Add the $USDC(Polygon)
Launch your SafePal App, click the icon with the three dots, then click ‘Manage Coins’ on the App homepage.
Click the ‘Search’ icon or the blank field after the button, then enter the name of the coin that you would like to add.
Select the coin that you’d like to add, which is $USDC(Polygon) in this case and click the ‘+’ button.
A prompt message 'Added' will appear on your SafePal App telling you that the coin has been added successfully.
Step3 To receive $USDC(Polygon)
Search and find the USDC token on your SafePal asset page.
Select the coin that you want to receive on your SafePal App, and click ‘Receive’.
Copy or share the wallet address with your friends, to start receiving the $USDC(Polygon) coins using the address!
Note: Please do check and ensure that all the addresses/memos (if needed)/networks are correct when you transfer or receive a cryptocurrency. It is recommended to send a small amount first as a test before transferring the remaining amount, thus preventing huge losses due to human errors.
The X1 hardware wallet is an offline device to keep your private key and mnemonic phrase protected, it can't detect and update the balances automatically. To check the balance of the X1 wallet account, please pair the SafePal App with the X1 device, the SafePal App can display all of the asset details of your wallet.
