The SafePal X1 hardware wallet is a cold wallet for storing your private key offline. To use it, you need to pair it with the SafePal App via Bluetooth so that the SafePal App can update all the details of your crypto assets on-chain and you can easily view and manage your funds. As it is a 100% offline device, it cannot display the real-time balance of the on-chain assets. The balance can be viewed in the SafePal App after pairing with the X1 device.
If you have a wallet on your X1 device and have paired your X1 wallet with the SafePal App via Bluetooth, you can add some cryptocurrencies to your X1 hardware wallet and transfer them using your X1 wallet device. This article provides a guideline on how to send out cryptos using the SafePal X1 hardware wallet.
This article contains the following steps:
Step 1 Prepare your X1 device
Step 2 Add the cryptocurrency
Step 3 Send out the cryptocurrency
Step 1 Prepare your X1 device
Create or import a wallet on your X1 hardware and pair it with the SafePal App via Bluetooth. If you don't know how to do it, you can refer to the detailed guides below:

Step 2 Add the cryptocurrency
Launch your SafePal App, click on the icon with three dots, and then click on "Manage coins" on the main page of the App.
Search for the name of the cryptocurrency that you want to add, select the one that you would like to add (here we will use $INJ coin as an example) and click on the "+" button.
A prompt message 'Added' will appear for a while to indicate that you have successfully added the crypto. You can see the cryptocurrency in your wallet then.
If you are adding a coin like $SOL, $LTC, $XRP, which are a cryptocurrency from non-EVM compatible networks, you will need to enter the X1 PIN code to confirm it on your SafePal X1 wallet. But for the EVM compatible tokens and coins, there is no need to synchronize and sign on your X1 device.
Step 3 Send out the cryptocurrency
Open the X1 wallet on the SafePal App (which you paired via Bluetooth with your SafePal App) and find the cryptocurrency that you would like to send out.
Gently click on the cryptocurrency you want to send and click the "Send" tab.
Enter the recipient address and transaction amount and click "Next".
Since blockchain transfers are irreversible, please check all transfer details carefully to avoid mistakes. After confirming the details, click "Send".
The SafePal App will display 'Awaiting confirmation' per like the below screenshot, which means you need to sign and authorize on your X1 wallet.
Start your X1 device and sign the transaction signature by entering your X1 device PIN code to authorize this transaction.
Once the transfer is signed, it will be broadcast to the blockchain. Don't forget to check the transfer status and make sure it is successfully completed.
Note: Once the transfer is confirmed on the blockchain, no one, including SafePal, can reverse the transfer, even if the transfer is sent incorrectly. So please pay attention to the transfer details to avoid making mistaken transactions.
