SafePal App 4.6.0 version has supported the RBF of Bitcoin. And this article provides a step-by-step guide on how to cancel or accelerate the Bitcoin transaction in SafePal Software wallet.
Before proceeding to the next steps, we suggest taking a look at some key security tips in this section to ensure the safety of your cryptocurrency.
This article contains the following four steps:
- Step 1 Download and setup the SafePal App
- Step 2 Navigate to the BTC transaction details page
- Step 2 Accelerate the BTC transaction
- Step 3 Cancel the BTC transaction
Step1 Download and setup the SafePal App
The first step is to download the SafePal App from here, set up the latest SafePal App V4.6.0 or above on your phone, and create or import a wallet into the SafePal App.
The following are some useful tutorials you may need:
Step2 Navigate to the BTC transaction details page
Launch your SafePal App, search and find the BTC coin in SafePal App asset page, click it.
You can see your BTC transaction details.
Step3 Accelerate the BTC transaction
Find the BTC transaction that you would like to accelerate, then click the ‘Accelerate’tab.
Check the transaction details that you would like to accelerate, click 'Confirm'.
Choose a higher network fee standard or manually set your custom network fee for the transaction, and click 'Next'.
Enter your App security password to sign the BTC accelerating. Kindly note by doing this you will pay higher BTC coins as gas fee to speed up your transactions.
Step4 Cancel the BTC transaction
Find the BTC transaction that you would like to accelerate on the transaction page, then click the ‘Cancel’tab.
Check the transaction details that you would like to cancel, click 'Confirm'
Choose a network fee standard or manually set your custom network fee for the transaction, and click 'Next'.
Enter your App security password to sign the BTC transaction cancellation. Kindly note by doing this the gas gas fee you paid for the transaction will not be returned back with the coin you sent, since No matter a blockchain transaction finally fails or succeeds, the gas fee will be consumed and will not be returned to the sender anymore.
