The first step is to check if the S1 device has entered the upgrade mode. If the device doesn't enter the upgrade mode, the computer cannot detect it as a virtual disk.
If the device has entered the upgrade mode but the computer still doesn't detect the virtual disk, it could be caused by the improper USB connection. Examine the following items and check if the USB connection gets through:
- Charge some electronic devices using the USB cable and see if it's powering the device properly
- If the USB cable functions normally, try to plug the USB cable into another USB port on the computer and see if the connection gets through
