When you create a new XRP wallet, there will be a base consumption of 10XRP, because the XRP network sets a Base Reserve requirement for every new account/address. The 10XRP will be locked in the wallet as a base reserve and users are not able to transfer the 10XRP out of the wallet.
Since the 10XRP is not transferrable, the SafePal App will hide the 10XRP base reserve to avoid misunderstanding. For example, when you transfer 25XRP to a newly created SafePal wallet, the wallet will display only 15XRP as the 10XRP base reserve has been hidden.
