Firstly, please note the password is only known by you and is stored and encrypted locally on your computer, also there is no way for the SafePal support team to provide you with your password or your recovery phrase.
If you have forgotten the password that you have set up for your SafePal Extension Wallet, please follow the following guidelines :
1. If you have created your wallet (Generated your Seed phrase) from your SafePal Extension :
A. Make sure that you have correctly saved your recovery phrase, if you have created several wallets, please make sure that you have each recovery phrase for each wallet that you have created into the SafePal Extension Wallet.
B. Select “Reset your wallet”:
C. Make sure to read and understand the risks you reset the extension, then click “Reset”
D. Click on “Get Started”:
E. Create a new Password, confirm it and click on “Next” :
F. Select “Import Wallet”:
G. Select Mnemonic Phrase:
H. Make sure to read carefully and understand the instructions and click on “Next”:
I. Enter your Mnemonic Phrase:
Done! Your password will be reset and your wallet should be successfully imported!
2. If you have created your phrase from the SafePal App and paired it to your SafePal Extension:
A. Select “Reset my wallet”:
B. Make sure to read and understand the risks if reset the extension wallet, then click “Reset”
C. Click on “Get Started”:
D. Create a new password, confirm it, and click on “Next” :
E. Scan the QR code shown by the extension with your SafePal app:
F. Confirm the connection on your SafePal App:
G. Select the Wallets that you want to connect to the SafePal Extension Wallet:
Done! Your password is now reset, and your wallet should be successfully imported!
