Thanks for your feedback,
Since the battery is a lithium one, one of the nature of a lithium battery is that, if you don’t charge it regularly, the battery life would reduce gradually. In order to maintain the best working condition of the lithium battery, we recommend charging the SafePal wallet at least once every 3 months.
It is emphasized that the working voltage of S1 should be charged at the 5V charging plug, which usually includes the charger of the mobile phone and the USB interface of the computer. However, the charging plug of the laptop cannot be used, and it will damage the S1.
When the battery is fully charged, the battery logo is white, and the lightning label will not be displayed when the USB cable is inserted.
If the battery is dead, the battery symbol is yellow, and insert the USB cable will have a lightning symbol. (Please check the picture below)
And as you can see, It does not show the lightning symbol when the device is off. But it does not affect the wallet to continue charging.
Just trying to charge it for a long time (such as charging for 24 hours) and then check if it can be fully charged.
If it still does not work, we recommended you to replace a good USB cable and try charging again.
Even if the battery is out of service eventually, the SafePal S1 device can still function normally by plugging into a computer using a USB cable.
If you still have questions, feel free to contact us.
Thanks for your cooperation.
